Bauer Vapor X60 LE 2011 Hockey Stick Review

Bauer Vapor X60 LE 2011 Review

The 2011 Bauer X60 LE hockey sticks offer the same great top of the line performance as the standard X60 stick with slick Limited Edition graphics. The X60 LE stick also features a smooth matte stick finish.

The X60 LE hockey stick is the only stick in the Vapor line using TeXtreme® carbon fiber. TeXtreme® is exceptionally light and offers great power. Due to the stick design and type of carbon used the X60 stick has a great light and balanced feel, without feeling blade heavy. The X:60 hockey stick is not the lightest stick on the market but certainly in the category of lightest. Bauer has also introduced the Micro Feel II shaft dimensions, offering double concave walls and rounded corners. The Micro Feel II shaft has a great feel, and according to Bauer easier puck handling and superior control.

Like all Vapors sticks, the X60 LE comes with the Micro Feel shaft gives you a nice feel using double concave walls with rounded corners. The Stick'um coating provides extra grip.

The 2011 X60 LE is tapered at the bottom towards the blade. Less stick at this point gives you the ability to snap your shop for a quicker release. Strength is made up in the blade with the Pure Shot profile, which is a thicker blade at the heel of the stick. The foam that makes up the inner blade construction called 'Aero Foam' helps you absorb the puck when receiving passes so the puck isn't bouncing around all over the place.

The 2011 Bauer X60 LE uses the Intelli-Sense Shot Technology wich adjusts the flex points in the stick depending on your hand placements on the stick.
